To hear about the difference functional medicine has made in the lives of some of our patients, read our patient testimonials.
Read Testimonials! The road that led me to Functional Medicine is a very personal one. As a child, I had multiple illnesses—asthma, allergies, chronic nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and abnormal bowel habits. A CT scan ruled out a brain tumor, but didn’t get me any closer to a real answer. I was sick all the time, and suffered numerous bouts of pneumonia.
Functional medicine is a patient-centered healthcare approach that focuses on getting to the root causes of each individual’s health issues, and improving the functions that help us thrive and be well. Functional medicine focuses on improving the physiological function as a primary method of improving the health of patients.
If you are dealing with any kind of chronic medical condition, from thyroid issues to diabetes, allergies to arthritis, or obesity to asthma, just to name a few, then functional medicine is a way for you to get to the root of your health problem instead of just taking medicine to manage your symptoms.
